Why NASA is Brutally Important to the World’s Economy

In the Future Machines will rise up and destroy the human race. This is a common concept throughout the ages of science fiction…chances are this will actually happen but it won’t occur as it does in the movies. There will be no Terminators or Matrices but machines will out-purpose Human beings leaving us with no required job skills and a destroyed economy if we don’t act fast. We have always said “we’ll always need ditch diggers”; well what happens when we don’t? I know you’re thinking that I am on another crazy rant but I have proof. (more…)
The Lost Generation?

Lately I have been seeing a lot of articles on news sites referring to the college graduates of the past 10 years as the “Lost Generation”. The Lost Generation referring to the fact that they are unable to find a job in their chosen field. Personally I believe that there are more factors at work than the fact that “there aren’t any jobs”.
Granted our population has skyrocketed, we have a massive illegal immigrant problem, technology is rendering various career options obsolete, Baby Boomers can’t or wont retire and businesses are outsourcing at a record rate. SO understandably it is difficult to find a job, however I feel this could be a great thing for our culture and we could easily turn the “Lost Generation” into the Found Generation. (more…)

Silent Hill HD New Voiceover Spoof

This New Years Eve, The Silent Hill HD collection will be released for XBox 360 and Playstation 3. In addition to upgrading the graphics to HD, all the voice acting has also been updated due to royalty demands from the original voice actors.
It Seems that there is a rebellion forming from some die-hard fans who feel that the new voices are terrible. Personally I think they sound just fine, but leave it to Fanboys of any genre to overreact. I can ignore the fact that the voices are slightly different, but I can’t ignore the fact that the Silent Hill HD collection doesn’t include SILENT HILL!!!! WTF Konami? You get the Excellent Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams & the Mediocre Silent Hill 3. Being that SH3 is a direct sequel to the original wouldn’t it have made more sense to package those 2 together? And why bother if you’re not including the original beloved game that started the series?

Redheads are being turned away from the largest sperm bank in the world—because not enough people want children with red hair.
The director of Cryos International, Ole Schou, said that there have been so many donations made in the last few years that now the facility can afford to be picky.The international sperm bank has been inundated with donations, but the demand for red-haired children isn’t soaring like the supply of sperm.
“There are too many redheads in relation to demand. I do not think you chose a redhead, unless the partner—for example, the sterile male—has red hair, or because the lone woman has a preference for redheads. And that’s perhaps not so many, especially in the latter case,” said Schou. (more…)
