I certainly don’t.

The recording industry is still failing and now they are proposing a tax that would be imposed on radio stations. It seems free promotion of “their” artists is simply not enough. Now they want to charge to have “their” product advertised. Tell me, does anybody else want/have to pay to advertise for someone? Why should radio stations have to do it?

By all means, support your favorite artists. But try and do it as directly as possible. Go to concerts. Support local music. Buy music direct from artist websites. Keep radio free.
