Gears of War 3 Trailer
Posted: 15th April 2010 by Jon in GAMESTags: female cog, gears of war, Gears of war 3, Trailer

Oh JOYYYYYYYYY! Last night on Jimmy Fallon they premiered the trailer for Gears of War 3. From the looks of the preview, the rumors of a female cog were true, as well as the apocalypse is apparently nearing its conclusion. It’s very possible they took an almost zombie apocalypse approach with this one, as the landscape seems much more desolate and isolated. I loved the first two installments of Gears and I can’t believe I have to wait an entire year for this one! Enjoy the Haunting Gears of War 3 Trailer!
Romero’s Survival Of the Dead Trailer!

Finally a New Romero Zombie flick is coming. Granted its gotten so-so reviews and is pretty much coming straight to DVD but still…. one can hope. I wasn’t a fan of Diary of the Dead or Land of the Dead, but this looks like he decided to cut out the bullshit experimentation and go back to what made his early films great. And thankfully it also looks like he tried to avoid discussing modern technology (e.g. you tube ridiculousness from Diary) as it is set on a post apocalyptic island that doesn’t seem to have a lot of modern convenience. Continue on to see the Trailer. Enjoy!
The Crazies
Posted: 8th February 2010 by Jon in MOVIESTags: preview, Romero, the crazies, Trailer, zombies
The Crazies is a remake of the 1973 George A. Romero movie of the same name. A story about a Biological weapon released upon a small town that results in brutal insanity. A small town man, his wife and a few friends do their best to survive as the inhabitants of the town rapidly become inhuman monsters. The military complicates things and begin shooting people on site to contain the virus until the town can be firebombed out of existence. Sort of like, The Happening meets Outbreak meets 28 days later.
Just a note for all those youngsters out there who thought Danny Boyle re-imagined zombies with the 28 days later formula, your wrong. (more…)
